What is SSY Calculator?
Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana (SSY) is a government-backed savings scheme specifically for girl children in India. Launched under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative, it currently offers 8.2% p.a. โ one of the highest guaranteed rates available. The account matures when the girl turns 21, and withdrawals are allowed at 18 for higher education or marriage. SSY enjoys EEE tax status โ fully exempt from taxation.
